Challenge the record with a source.

Whale Fall is a living evidence project. Sources move, records change, and mistakes can occur.

Submit enough to reproduce the issue

Include the page or record ID, the disputed statement or relationship, why it appears incorrect or incomplete, a supporting public source, and corrected wording if known.

Possible review outcomes

A correction can result in a source update, successor source, narrower wording, unresolved identity status, relationship removal, or movement of a record back into research review.

Corrections are evaluated against source evidence, not political agreement or disagreement.

Source removal

A public source becoming unavailable does not automatically erase the historical record. If a source moved, Whale Fall can preserve the old URL and add a verified successor. If provenance cannot be supported, a record can be withdrawn from publication pending review.

Privacy

Private credentials, account secrets, private health information, inferred private beliefs, and internal system information are outside the public project.
